Juniper Restaurant D.C. Surprise Engagement [Mary + Steven]

I had the opportunity to capture another surprise engagement! I received a call from my friend and event planner Victoria Nee-Lartley that Mary and Steven would be taking a road trip to the Washington D.C. area.

We didn’t have that much time to choose a venue but within 48 hours we settled on Juniper Restaurant in Washington, D.C. We couldn’t have chosen a better venue as the staff was very accommodating and we had Mary and Steven sit by the courtyard. I instructed Steven to drop the knife and that was my cue for my crew and I to move in to capture the proposal. We even live streamed it on Periscope for others to view and join in virtually on the celebration.
